Back in Japan

Luckily, Brandt didn't have to go back to meet his ship for a week when we got home - thank goodness. So we drove up to Yumahari lookout, which looks out over the 99 islands and would be beautiful on a clear day. Very rare to get a clear day here.

We also checked out the Oyster Festival at Kashimae Pier. 99 islands are known for their oyster farms so we bought 4 kg for 600 yen and took them home to cook on the BBQ. They had grills and knifes to cook the oysters on your own but it was a little too cold for that. We are really getting wimpy!

Miho also won an award for being the top producer in Japan since we have been working so hard lately. Doesn't she look so nice! I'm so happy I get to move back to main base here soon and go back to working with Miho!
